Achieve The Impossible

There will be times when people tell you that you can't do something. That you're not good enough, that you'll never be able to complete the task at hand. Or, maybe, there are situations where you tell yourself that you can't do something. You let doubt creep in, and it pushes you back and prevents you from doing incredible things. That needs to stop, now.

Don't let anyone ever tell you that you aren't capable of something, because you are. As Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through He who gives me strength." That's absolutely true, which is why it's one of my favorite Bible verses. Anything is possible through God. He has a plan for you, and He will help you accomplish incredible feats.

A quote that I try to remember a lot is,"Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right." That is such an important mindset to have, because you have to believe that you are capable of completing whatever challenge life throws at you. This might sound hypocritical, coming from me, because I have a tendency to give up when it feels like I won't be able to jump over life's hurdles.

However, I'm trying to work on perseverance. I'm trying to improve on sticking through things, and I feel like starting a blog has really helped me with that. When I first started Live The Prep Life (almost a year and a half ago!) I had no following and no readers for what seemed like forever. I felt like giving up because I didn't feel like my posts were good enough. I thought I was too young, not sophisticated enough, I didn't have the right clothes, the list goes on. I fell into the infamous comparison trap.

Despite these struggles, I persevered. I kept blogging, and before I knew it, I actually had people commenting on my blog. I had people liking my posts on Instagram, and I started getting chances to work with companies and other bloggers. It was kind of crazy.

While this isn't technically an impossible feat, it felt like in the moment. To me, it was unthinkable, but somehow, by pushing the doubt away, I was able to build my blog to where it is now. Granted, I know that my following is relatively small compared to the growth of some other bloggers in the same amount of time, but I'm proud of what I've created nonetheless. I know this is something not many girls my age can do, and it seems preposterous to them. It seemed absurd to me, too, until I actually did it.

I want to always remember that I can do all things through He who gives me strength, (Philippians 4:13) and that's where 212 West comes in. With this necklace from 212 West, I keep the reminder that I can achieve the impossible close to my heart every day. It's the perfect piece of jewelry, because whenever doubt creeps into my head, I finger the three gold blocks on the chain and know that God has the power to guide me through life. Not only is the necklace really pretty, but it also has an amazing message.

212 West has tons of different blocks that you can choose to make your necklace customized to say whatever you like. You can take whatever saying that empowers you to be the best possible version of yourself and keep it close to your heart every single day.

Some of my favorite preset sayings are Hope Faith Love, Achieve Your Dream, God is Love, and Mind Over Matter. However, you can also elect to create your own custom necklaces by putting together three words. 212 West has a wide variety of blocks, and this gives you more options when it comes to finding a quote that you like. This is what I did, and since there are so many possible combinations of words, I had the hardest time choosing which phrase I liked best!

I finally decided on Achieve The Impossible because I want to always recognize what I am capable of. I want to remember that through God, I can do amazing things, for nothing is impossible through God. (Luke 1:37)

This post was all over the place, from talking about achieving the unimaginable, to explaining the importance of never giving up, to emphasizing how crucial it is to believe in yourself. However, I feel that it all ties together. In order to do the unthinkable, you have to have a little faith, in both yourself and God. You have to be willing to push through and not just quit, even when it feels like you'll never amount to anything.

The bottom line is, I believe in you. I believe that everyone has the power to change the world. The power to do the impossible. Sometimes, we just have to believe in ourselves and have a little perseverance before we can do what we thought could never be done.

How do you achieve the impossible?
