Life Lately Vol. 57

Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing another Life Lately post, where I share a bunch of snapshots from my daily life + tell y'all what I've been up to. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!

This feels like forever ago, but a few weekends ago, we went to Dallas to get dinner and visit the Friends pop-up! There was a section in Klyde Warren Park with the iconic couch + coffee scene backdrop, so we went to snap some pictures.

We play the final game of our season on Saturday and I can't believe the season has gone by so fast! We've lost all games except for one haha but I honestly don't care because I love my team and I look forward to every practice + game!

Homecoming week... aka one of the best weeks of the school year! My school had a different themed dress-up day all week long, so on twin day, Ash and I wore our Friends shirts!

And the homecoming parade! It's funny because freshman year I dreaded going to the parade, but now it's one of my favorite activities and I'm so sad that I only have one more homecoming parade. ever.

The homecoming parade was also on Annabelle's birthday, so we came home and I made her some Twix blondies! I got her the cutest Peppa Pig sunglasses and I don't think she likes them because she hasn't worn them yet (and it's been almost a month) but I digress.

And now for the actual Homecoming dance! I honestly wasn't planning on going but Ash & Mia convinced me to go, and I'm glad they did because I had a lot of fun! We went in a big group and had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, then to the dance!

We had a Monday off school a couple weeks ago so my family and I toured SMU! It's such a beautiful campus and everyone there is so friendly!!

Last weekend, my dad, sister, and I went to the Texas State Fair. It was such a fun day of pig races, funnel cake, midway games, ferris wheel rides, and free food!

On Wednesday, my AP Studio Art class took a field trip to Thanksgiving Square and the Dallas Museum of Art. Not going to lie, I walked in with kind of a negative attitude because the last time I took a field trip to the DMA... I was kind of miserable. However, I ended up having a lot more fun this time--I thought Thanksgiving Square was really cool!

Aaaaand now you're pretty much caught up with my life! Tonight, I'm going to my school's rivalry football game (it will be a lot of fun but it will also be freezing), then tomorrow, I have my last soccer game of the season! On Sunday, I'm going to go to a TCU soccer game--it's going to be a big sports weekend for me!

ALSO... Christmas is exactly two months from today :)
