So this post was to go up on Friday... but if I'm completely honest, I kind of forgot about this post. I haven't been on my phone or laptop a ton lately, and this week really flew by, so Friday rolled around and I had no blog post written. I just decided to switch my schedule around and make this post go live on Monday. Enjoy!
Daddy Daughter Dance // Two weeks ago, my sister, dad, and I went to our church's annual Daddy Daughter Dance. This is a fun tradition that we've always shared, no matter how old my sister and I get. :) I wore this seersucker dress from Lauren James that I featured in this post a while back. This dress would be the perfect fit for Valentine's Day if you're planning on dressing up!
iFly // This is a pretty low quality picture and the lighting is not the best but I still wanted to share it because it was the best picture I got from when I went indoor skydiving last weekend! My sister and I went with my cousins, and it was so much fun. Indoor skydiving has been on my 101 in 1001 list for a while now, and I'm glad I was able to cross another item off of that list. The whole experience was different from what I was expecting, and I don't think I'll be going skydiving out of a plane any time soon, but I'm still so glad I did it and I would love to go back in a couple years to do it again! The professional skydivers were doing all sorts of flips and turns, which was so cool to watch! If you have an iFly near you, definitely go sometime!
Baking // Baking has been one of my favorite activities lately. In my last volume of Life Lately, I shared these peanut butter cookies I made. Since then, I've made brookies (brownies topped with cookies), sugar cookies, and regular brownies. I have so many recipes I want to make, and while it saddens me knowing that I will never be able to make all of the thousands of desserts I want to try (literally thousands - just look at my Pinterest board), I love getting to try new recipes!
I hope your Monday is amazing and you have a fun-filled Valentine's Day tomorrow!
