Happy Sunday, friends! It's certainly been a bit... I've missed y'all! I've been doing quite a bit of traveling over the past couple weeks, so my blog and YouTube schedules have both been a little crazy. I apologize for that, but I've been having a lot of fun traveling so hopefully y'all are enjoying seeing my travel-related content. I have a Chicago recap coming up this week, and I'm so excited to put it together.
I know I don't normally post on Sundays, but I haven't done one of these posts in forever, so I feel like I owe it to y'all to publish this volume of Life Lately today. I've had a ton of stuff going on, so I hope you enjoy reading!
Two weeks ago, I went to Austin with my family and it was so much fun. We explored so much of Austin, and I really enjoyed getting to see my potential future college town. I wrote two posts about the trip, so you can click here and here to read them.
If you've been following me on my other social media accounts, you may have seen that I went to Chicago last week! I'm not going to talk too much about my Chicago trip, since a blog post on it is coming up very soon, but it was incredibly fun and over too soon. The picture above is my favorite of the trip, and a sneak peek as to what is coming, so get excited... I have so many pictures to share with y'all!
One of my favorite parts about summer is the fresh fruits and vegetables it brings. I love going to my local Farmer's Market and picking out some locally grown produce to take home with me. In between vacations, I took a couple trips to the farmer's market, and picked out some really delicious items. The fresh veggies tasted so good in pasta (we even made our own pasta sauce once!!) and the fruits were amazing simply by themselves. The Dallas farmer's market also has an indoor area where you can have lunch, so my family and I enjoyed pizza and macarons when we went there one afternoon.
For my friend's birthday a couple weeks ago, she got a bunch of girls together to have dinner and do a paint war. I'd never participated in a paint war before, and I really enjoyed it. It was definitely quite messy, but made for such a fun evening with my friends.
