Currently Vol. 12

Well, friends, I have officially survived my first week of sophomore year! 12 pages of world history notes later, and it's finally Friday! I am so excited to celebrate my sister's seventh birthday this weekend - it's going to be a much needed break from the long week I've had.

Reading... I finished My Life Next Door, but I'm not sure what to start next. Recommendations??

Loving... I've enjoyed catching up with my friends that I haven't seen all summer! It's been the only good part about school so far!

Listening... lately I have been listening to old Taylor Swift music while I run. It puts me in such a good mood!

Watching... I made a mental note to watch To All The Boys I've Loved Before this weekend... does that count?

Eating... I feel like I always eat healthier during the school year. For breakfast this week I have been eating acai bowls (I blend an acai packet with some berries and almond milk, then top with a banana and granola). For lunch I have been loving Tres Pupusas (they're these corn tortillas stuffed with corn and black beans) dipped in some guacamole. For snacks, I've been eating carrots & hummus, halo top (loving peaches and cream right now!) or Boom Chicka Pop with some peanut M&M's mixed in.

Buying... a new phone!! I finally said adios to my iPhone 5c and got a new iPhone 8+!

Wanting... in Emma MacDonald's latest YouTube video, she shared these custom Nike shoes she bought and I think they are SO COOL! Definitely a little out of my price range... but a girl can dream.

Wearing... simple tops paired with denim. I wore a gray tee with a denim skirt on the first day (as seen above), and I've been wearing solid colored shirts with jeans and some simple jewelry every single day.
