I think a Life Lately post has been long overdue. My life has been filled with what feels like nonstop activity lately, and I have so much to catch y'all up on. Grab a cup of coffee (and maybe a muffin or something while you're at it) and sit back, because this post is going to be a long one!

First things first... I went to Austin a couple weeks ago! Go check out that post here if you want to read all about that trip :)
Now that I have that out of the way... here's everything else I've been up to!

So last time we talked I had just celebrated my sixteenth birthday, my grandparents were in town, and I had four different flavors of cake in my house. Those were good times. I am sad to report that there is no cake in my house at the moment, but we do have a box of snickerdoodle cookie mix in our pantry and I will be making those this weekend.
Here's a picture from my grandparents' aforementioned visit: we took them to our favorite dinner spot one night (Black Walnut Cafe) and they loved it!
Here are some pictures from Homecoming Week! Between dress up days, the Homecoming parade, and the dance, it was so much fun! It was a crazy busy week but I always end up enjoying every minute of it.
I went shopping with my best friends the other day since we had a day off from school - we hit up Francesca's, Forever 21, and Runway Seven (my new favorite boutique!) I'm pretty broke so I didn't buy anything, but I saw so many cute fall clothes.

More shopping pictures, because it's finally sweater season!! It's been so cold here and I am living for it because I get to wear all my new sweaters. I tried on these two at Nordstrom Rack (linked here and here) and I purchased the second one (it was only $26, great for a broke gal like me). Both are incredibly soft and cozy!
A family friend somehow ended up with tons of TCU soccer tickets, so my dad and I have started going to the women's games. We saw TCU play UT a few weeks ago, and tonight we're watching them face off against Texas Tech! It's supposed to rain, so say a quick prayer that I don't freeze to death.
And that about covers it... now you're caught up with everything in my life! Here's to a great weekend!
