Room Redecoration Inspiration

For the past year or so, I've been toying with the idea of redecorating my room. I like my room now; however, I've had the same bedspread and color scheme since third grade and it's just not "me" anymore. Third grade me was into bright turquoise everything, fifth grade me loved making DIY room decor, seventh grade me was obsessed with monograms and Lilly Pulitzer everything, and all of those phases are definitely evident in my room. Tenth grade me is ready for something more simple, neutral, and sophisticated, and for the past year I've been keeping an eye out for home decor items I like. Today I'm sharing a mood board of all of the items I like, in case any of y'all are in the same boat as me or just like looking at home decor!

Pink Bedspread // Llama Pillow // Cream Blanket // Wooden Mirror // White & Pink Lamp // Wire Basket // Woven Basket
My favorite color is light pink, so I want to have a pink bedspread surrounded by fairly neutral accents. I love this one from Urban Outfitters; it's very subtle and simple but still so gorgeous. I also think this llama pillow and this cream blanket would be fun accents on top of the bedspread! Storage wise, I love this wire basket and this woven basket to put random things in. The wire basket could go on one of the shelves on my desk (I am keeping my current furniture) and the wicker basket could hold laundry. Lastly, I think this white and pink lamp would look nice on my nightstand, and I love the idea of having a full length mirror so I can take lots of outfit selfies!

I've always loved the look of wall art: if I were to redo my room, I would definitely want to put a lot of wall art above my desk or bed. These two from Rifle Paper Co are so cute: I love the colors and fun designs! I also love the idea of having a wire saying above my bed - it's so simple yet so chic. I also think Urban Outfitters has a great selection of wall art! Obviously I wouldn't need all of the pieces I've put in the collage, but they're all too cute - I just can't decide! Lastly, I've been thinking about buying a letter board for a while now - I love all the witty sayings people put on them! I would definitely want one to go on my desk.

Which one of these items was your favorite?
