Life Lately Vol. 58

Happy Sunday! This post is going up a couple days late because my schedule has been crazy hectic lately and I've fallen behind on blog posts. Soccer season has started, which means I don't get home until 5:30 every day, and on top of that, I have semester exams coming up and I'm doing Vlogmas (daily vlogs every day until Christmas!!)

This picture was taken while exploring Waco! Over Thanksgiving break, my family went to Waco, TX to tour Baylor and go to Magnolia Market. It was such a fun trip--Waco is just two hours away from Dallas and I love taking trips down there!

This one was taken outside of Magnolia Market! We didn't end up buying anything, but I always enjoy walking around the Silos grounds. We also ate brunch at Chip & Jo's new restaurant, Magnolia Table, which was probably one of the best meals I've ever eaten.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! This year, we made sweet potatoes, stuffing, turkey, green bean casserole, and mac and cheese bites! For dessert my sisters and I each made our own pies. I swear by Emeril Lagasse's chocolate pecan pie!!

I haven't really talked about this much, but I got a new job! I am working for Uptown Cheapskate, a local thrift store. We are currently in the process of filling up the store so we can open to the public, so if you have any clothes to sell, please come sell us your clothes! Even if you don't live in Dallas, Uptown Cheapskate is a national franchise, so you should definitely check to see if you have one near you! Oh, and you should go follow us on Instagram :)

My soccer Christmas party was this past Friday! It was held in a private room in a grocery store, and after the party was over we walked around and took pictures in the ice cream aisle!

We put our Christmas tree up and it is absolutely gorgeous! Decorating for Christmas is easily my favorite holiday activity; it's just so fun and festive!

Have a great Sunday!
